United Way Trinidad & Tobago (UWTT) is a national non-profit organization which mobilizes resources to serve Non-Governmental Organizations (NGOs) and Community Based Organizations (CBOs) that deliver social services in Trinidad and Tobago.

Named for its benefactor, the JB Fernandes Memorial Trust I continues his philanthropic vision by providing grants to nonprofits for combating poverty, improving health care services, and expanding educational opportunities. Reflecting Mr. Fernandes’ combined European and Caribbean heritage, the Trust supports organizations in Portugal, Madeira, Trinidad, and Tobago as well as selected Portuguese communities in the U.S.

The Global Fund for Children’s mission is to advance the dignity of children and youth around the world. The needs of children and youth, though in many ways universal, are best responded to in ways that fit the particular situation on the ground. GFC therefore supports groups that are providing for the needs of children in a variety of ways—by giving scholarships to allow poor children to attend formal schools, by providing tutoring and after-school services to youth at risk of leaving formal schooling, or by establishing classroom environments on train platforms, in boats, on beaches, or at garbage dumps.

Republic Bank’s landmark social responsibility programme, The Power to Make a Difference seeks to address some of these social ills through partnerships with non governmental and charitable organizations that focus on poverty alleviation and youth development through sport, education and culture.
